Sakura Ridge is a working organic pear and cherry orchard and beautiful Bed & Breakfast located less than twenty minutes from downtown Hood River in the foothills
of Mount Hood. Spectacular views and rustic elegance coupled with abundant gardens make this a memorable place.
The owners’ kitchen garden, consisting of custom, cedar raised beds, and a large, organic berry garden complement the lush flowers and mixed borders surrounding the Lodge. A sheltered patio on the north side invites guests to enjoy the gardens and adjacent orchard. Several patios and sitting areas on the south side allow for panoramic valley, mountain and forest views. Sakura Ridge Lodge has one of the best views of Mount Hood you will ever find.
The gardens at Sakura Ridge were designed by Marion McNew of Mount Hood Gardens, Inc. in spring of 2007 and installed during the summer of that year by the company’s crew and several subcontractors.
